As wedding season approaches I wanted to share original sketches with their outcome: Pin It
Emie wanted a dress where "Sabrina met Holly Golightly". With a nod to Hubert Ginvinchy's creations for Audrey Hepburn and the bride's desire to show off her vintage aesthetic we came up with this cheeky version of a not quite tea length dress.
Made of silk satin with several tulle underskirts we definately needed a plan of how to create the illusion of a conservative covered up front with the surprise of the sexy cut out halter back. See the working sketch below:
