I know this girl.  She is 18. She is a jazz singer.  How do you know at 18 you are a jazz singer?  

She says, when I was born I knew I was in love with Billy Holiday.  Every time she performed as a child her mother brought her a magnolia or gardenia to wear in her hair.  There are some souls born with the knowledge of their passion.  This is rare. A gift.  I know because I am this lucky too.  I was born with a needle in my hand.  I stitch.  This jazz singer brought gardenias to my daughter's 18th birthday party tonight  because my daughter is also a singer.

She found an enchanted piece of lace in San Francisco at...Britex Fabric.  Possibly Italian, definitely European...origin unknown. The lace is extraordinary, challenging (MADDENING), to match, seam, line, but....
